Das Problem mit dem Geld

Etwas, über das ich mir schon lange Gedanken gemacht habe.
Wie soll das mit dem Geld funktionieren?
Schon irgendwie kompliziert und übersteigt meine Fähigkeiten im Bereich praktisches Denken. Was macht man also. Am besten Fragen. Gesagt, getan. Aber was dabei rauskam, naja, ob ich jetzt unbedingt schlauer bin ist eine gute Frage. ;)

Most students use a debit, ATM, and or credit card. In America, you can get a card that is attached to a bank account, and you can use it to get money from an ATM and to make credit card charges (called a debit card). Their parents put the money on the account each month. That saves a lot of money in wire transfer fees. Check with your bank or Travel Works and they can help you with this. Let them know that you are going to spend the year here, and you need to be able to get cash from an ATM. If you can get a debit card, that is even better, so you can use it for purchases too. But if not, there is no problem. we can get you to an ATM so you can get money out at any time.

Nun stellt sich die Frage: was ist ein debit und ein ATM? Frage über Fragen! ;) Also eine Sache, über die ich noch ein bisschen nachforschen sollte. Aber wofür gibt es Google, mein bester Freund.

Google: debit card --> Kontokarte
ATM --> Automated teller machines --> Geldabhebung mit Kredit- oder
Girokarte ;)
